1. Wolf Creek (Stan)
Just when you think you’re safe, another instalment of Wolf Creek hits Australian screens. The infamous crazed serial killer Mick Taylor is back and ready to send shivers down your spine once again.
Don’t expect to see this 6-part drama series on free-to-air however, as it will only be available to Stan subscribers.

2. Australian Survivor (Channel 10)
Survivor lovers will be happy to hear that this popular series is being revived on Australian shores, after almost 10 years. While Australian versions of the series have never really gone gangbusters, it looks a lot safer this year in the hands of Channel 10.
If our love for I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is any indication of our fascination for survival-based reality shows, then Australian Survivor is sure to get plenty of attention.
3. Wanted (Channel 7)
What is a night of Australian TV drama without Rebecca Gibney? Wanted is the former Gold Logie winner’s brainchild. She stars and produces in this Thelma-and-Louise-style drama series based on 2 strangers who are prime suspects in a murder.
It’s a big directional change for Packed To The Rafters star, but it’s guaranteed to get a big audience—after all, everything she touches turns to gold!

4. Brock: The Story Of An Australian Legend (Channel 10)
The untold story of the late great Peter Brock will be brought to life in this much-anticipated biopic. Matthew Le Nevez (better known for his role as Dr Patrick Reid in The Offspring) has been given the task of portraying one of Australia’s most highly regarded and successful race drivers.

5. The Secret Daughter (Channel 7)
The Secret Daughter is Jessica Mauboy’s long-awaited TV drama debut. The show has been specifically written for the Aussie singer songwriter, as she plays a part-time country pub singer whose life is completely changed after meeting a wealthy hotel manager. The show promises to have plenty of great music, romance and plot twists.

6. Kiss Bang Love (Channel 7)

8. The Wrong Girl (Channel 10)
Zoe Foster Blake’s award-winning book The Wrong Girl is being adapted into a much-anticipated TV series. A perfect blend of romance, comedy and drama, The Wrong Girl follows the producer of a cooking show as she deals with workplace challenges, awkward dates, needy parents and tricky friendships.
If the books are any indication, the show will get you laughing out loud in your lounge room. Did we mention it’s starring Packed To The Rafters glamour girl Jessica Marais?
9. Cleverman (ABC)
Featuring Game Of Thrones star Iain Glen (Sir Jorah Mormont) and an 80% Indigenous Australian cast, Cleverman is easily one of the biggest and most unique shows coming to the ABC in 2016. Set in the near future, this 6-part drama series follows 2 Indigenous brothers as they fight for survival against non-humans and otherworldly Dreamtime creatures.

10. Tomorrow When The War Began (ABC 3)
