It’s school holidays and we’ve found the best activities!

It’s that time of year again, when your kids are hanging around the house, constantly groaning about how bored they are. Why not get them out of the house? If you’re looking for some great places to take the kids these holidays, you should definitely start with The Human Whale Event! Everyone is invited to come down to Shoal Bay Beach to create a human whale, celebrating the beginning of the whale-watching season. With last year drawing crowds 800 strong, it’s set to be even bigger this year with more than one thousand people expected to turn up! Come down and enjoy a free day out with the kids.

Looking for something to do with the kids now the holidays have started? Why not head down to the beach and participate in The Human Whale Event! Kicking off at 10am on Shoal Bay Beach, this is a great excuse to get the kids out of the house and into the fresh air. We’ve even found some fantastic Port Stephens restaurants and cafes to visit along the way!

Start your day right with a trip to this adorable restaurant and café, hidden away in Medowie.

Is it a bit too early in the morning to get excited about the event? Be sure to order a delicious coffee to go alongside your meal, so you’re really ready to start the day! If you and your family are free from nut allergies, this unique farm is perfect place to visit.
