It's that time of year again running enthusiasts! That's right, the 37th annual Gold Coast Airport Marathon will kicking off this Saturday and Sunday. Attracting more than 27,000 participants of all ages and athletic abilities, you can run for fun or try and beat your personal best. With a flat, fast and scenic track running along the Gold Coast coastline, you can enjoy breathtaking beach views while competing in this fun-filled event. Think a full marathon might be a bit beyond you? Don't let that stop you! There are a range of different events suited to all abilities, so there's no excuse not to sign up.

2015 Gold Coast Airport Marathon

Whether you’re an avid marathon runner or looking to make this your first of many marathons, you won’t regret joining in the festivities at this great Gold Coast event. With origins dating back to 1979, the iconic Gold Coast Airport Marathon has gained momentum year after year and is now Australia’s premier road race. Starting in Southport, and spanning from Runaway Bay down to Burleigh, the picturesque views of the Gold Coast coastline should be enough motivation for you to sign up on its own. While there are professional runners competing, don’t let that scare you away, as there are different races for all skill levels over two action-packed days.
