You’re in a dilemma – you’ve recently agreed to stick to a fairly tight budget when it comes to eating out. Putting that $400 restaurant bill on the credit card really put you in a tight spot (with your finances and your partner). While we understand you probably need to watch your spending, there is no point going cold turkey and finding the temptation just too hard to resist. To make the transition a bit easier, we’ve found the best restaurants on the Sunshine Coast that offer you daily specials, so you can still eat out every now and again without putting yourself into debt. Read on for our favourite Sunshine Coast restaurants that offer up delicious meals, for a slice of the original price.

Their menu includes delicious favourites such as sushi rolls, sizzling Mongolian beef and $5 yum cha options. Dragon Bull also offers specials for every day of the week, so no matter which day you visit you’ll be eating incredible food at a fraction of the price. On Mondays, enjoy free spring rolls or gyoza for every couple dining in, on Wednesday be spoilt with deep fried ice-cream alongside your main meal, and on Sundays head down for free spirit mixer Sundays – bring your own bottle of spirit and they’ll provide the rest!

Visit on a Monday for your traditional fish and chips at two-for-one prices. If you’ve got little nippers, we recommend popping back in on Tuesday or Sunday where kids eat free with every purchase of a main meal. If you’re a true seafood fan, Thursday night is your night with the seafood platter for two for only $32.50. Pop in any other day of the week and check out the assorted chef’s special, but make this your go-to place if you’re looking for incredible dining without the big bill.
