​A stack of pancakes covered in maple syrup, fresh fruit and home-made yoghurt or fried eggs and crispy bacon, however you enjoy your breakfast we call all agree on one thing – there are few things that will make you get out of bed faster than the promise of a good coffee and a meal that you don't have to cook. The Sunshine Coast is home to a variety of restaurants and cafes that serve tasty breakfasts with a twist.

We have found five unique breakfasts for you to indulge in on the Sunshine Coast. So, grab a coffee and read on, we’ve got your next breakfast sorted!

One on La Balsa Cafe
Fresh food, home-made cakes and specialty coffee, One on La Balsa Cafe can help you find your breakfast perfection. Try the Smoked Salmon Stack, Dukkah Eggs or even a Vegetarian Breakfast. If you’re looking to make your breakfast a little bit more unique, pack your picnic blanket before you head over to One on La Balsa. The friendly team is more than happy to serve food “to go” so that you are able to enjoy your feast in the park, all you have to do is return your plates and cutlery when you’re done.

The Attic Cafe
Open since 2005, The Attic Cafe prides itself in making, baking and creating a unique dining experience for their guests. Crispy bacon, fried eggs and grilled tomatoes have never looked so good. The Attic Cafe serves up all of their meals with stunning presentation, and all at a great price too! Pack your sweet tooth if you’re thinking of heading over because there are some sneaky treats that you won’t be able to say no to. Enjoy live music from local acts as you indulge at this family-friendly cafe.

Maison de Provence
Everything that comes out of the Maison de Provence kitchen is made on-site with fresh ingredients. These specialists in French cuisine have brought the culture and taste of France to the Sunshine Coast. Forget coffee and doughnuts, this cafe can set you up with a Checker Plate (caramelised puff pastry) to dunk in your locally roasted small batch coffee – a taste sensation that you won’t want to end. With so much on the menu, you will simply have to keep coming back to try it all.

Berardo’s on the Beach Bistro
Looking out over Laguna Bay in Noosa, Berardo’s on the Beach Bistro is definitely one of the most spectacular breakfast spots on the Sunshine Coast. With a dining room that takes full advantage of the breathtaking views, you will be able to enjoy your breakfast with the sound of the crashing waves and a laid-back beachfront vibe. Complete with a seasonal menu that takes advantage of fresh produce from across Noosa and the Sunshine Coast, this is one breakfast you can’t miss. While you’re here, try the Farmer’s Market Plate – ‘Noosa reds’ tomato, avocado, buffalo mozzarella, balsamic glaze, olive oil, basil, soft poached egg, prosciutto and multigrain toast.

Homegrown Cafe Palmwoods
Small batch in-house roasted coffee, locally sourced produce and garden seating, Homegrown Cafe Palmwoods has a lot more to offer than you might realise. Try their famous Tin Shed coffee and pick up a freshly made muffin or one of their seasonal breakfast favourites that looks good enough to eat before it has even been cooked. With their own garden filled with tasty delights, you can be sure that your breakfast is as fresh and wholesome as it gets.
