The café on the Cairns Botanic Gardens grounds is open for breakfast 7 days a week between 7:00am to 11:30am. There are plenty of options available for your Valentine’s Day breakfast in Cairns, including breaky burgers, eggs, a big breaky, croissants and so much more.

2. Relax and swim at Trinity Beach.

Roughly 20-minutes drive from the Cairns Airport is local favourite Trinity Beach. To us, there is nothing more romantic than escaping the hustle and bustle of city life and being surrounded by nature with that special someone.

The beach itself is one of the quieter beaches and provides safe swimming for the whole family all year round. So, if you’re doing a family date day, this may be the perfect spot to head to in Cairns. However, remember to practice your summer skin care and slip, slop, slap!
