These great mains are all completely sustainable and you can even indulge in an organic warm Mareeba gold pineapple and watermelon crumble with wattle seed custard. If you’re an exercise enthusiast who is participating in the Cairns Earth Hour night run, be sure to carb load after at Roscoes Redlynch to give your body the strength to recover after the 5km and 10km runs. At Roscoes Redlynch you can grab a takeaway traditional pizza with toppings of your choice or a fettuccine Carbonara to really fill you up and satisfy you after your active evening. The Earth Hour run is hosted by ‘Dynamic Running’ a passionate local running group who are a not-for-profit organisation that are dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle and eager to entice people to get among their group running programs around the Cairns area.
This free run commences at 8pm, but after remember to treat yourself by visiting Roscoe’s Redlynch and enjoying a well-deserved Italian favourite. During the run, participants will be travelling to a local Cairns lookout to see which residents are embracing Earth hour by turning off their lights. Runners are advised to bring a torch and turn off the excess electricity prior to leaving your house.
