For a premium dinner location on Magnetic Island, don’t go past Barefoot Art Food Wine. This restaurant has been open for twelve years and run by husband and wife power team Sasha and Dave – their love of good food and art has come together to create this incredible dining spot that is loved by locals and visitors from all over the world.

Stop in for a fresh seafood platter or incredible main meal, including dishes such as roasted pork belly served on a spiced parsnip puree with Cavolo Rosso and roasted pear. Sit back and enjoy fine dining and finish it off with a dessert tasting plate or a banana tarte tatin drizzled with caramel sauce and ice cream. Located just down the road from a number of luxurious resorts in Nelly Bay is the quaint French themed Le Paradis Brasserie. This restaurant is just a short walk from the ocean and serves up a range of delicious French cuisine to indulge in. Order a glass of champagne or exclusive French wine and pick something scrumptious off the menu while relaxing in the alfresco dining.

Start your meal off with a French staple – snails served with spinach and cherry tomatoes. For your main meal, try the beef bourguignon or creamy chicken and wild mushroom vol au vent for a dish straight out of Paris itself. Last but not least, you can’t leave Le Paradis Brasserie without ordering a profiterole. This delightful puff of pastry, custard and chocolate will make you want to come back again and again.

Visit the R&R Bar and Restaurant for a huge range of meals ranging from fresh seafood to traditional pub meals. You can sit back and relax with a crisp schooner of beer while overlooking the pier, or take a seat inside by the large tropical fish tank to view some of the local wildlife without having to go diving.

At the R&R Bar and Restaurant you can bite into a juicy burger or steak sandwich for dinner or opt for a luxurious seafood platter. If you love seafood but would prefer it in a meal, choose the bug and prawn spaghetti for a flavoursome dish. You won’t be disappointed by the incredible beach views you’ll get when you visit this restaurant and afterwards you can retreat to the bar for a few drinks and a game of pool.
