Sip these age old favourites on the rocks.

If you're a rum enthusiast in Mackay and enjoy sipping rum on the rocks at every opportunity that arises, educate yourself on the in-depth flavour combinations and heritage of your favourite bottle of rum. Nothing can compare to lounging on your deck and enjoying a heart-warming rum cocktail that's an explosion of flavour in your mouth. If you're heading to a party or hosting one yourself pick up a bottle of these intensely flavour infused rums available at your local Mackay bottle shop beforehand.

Dan Murphy’s

Deadhead Rum is bottled in the most amazing way; it’s a bottle that resembles a rendered shrunken head which makes for the perfect gift. This premium rum is an absolute crowd pleaser with fine attention paid to the distilling process. Dan Murphy’s are the only bottle shops in Mackay who stock the Deadhead Rum that has come all the way to Australia from Mexico. This corked bottle of rum has a six years cask ageing that ignites the chocolate, coffee, cinnamon and nutmeg aromas within the bottle. Deadhead rum has additional flavours of caramel, cloves, and anise all brought together with a long spicy finish. Next time you’re wanting to kick-off a night of drinking, indulge with Deadhead rum from Dan murphy’s and taste this extensive flavour combination.

Captain Morgan is like the Caribbean in a 700ml bottle, so next time you’re on your way to an event pick up this guy from The Bottle-O in Mackay. Real rum enthusiasts will love some Captain Morgan spiced rum on the rocks or mixed in a blender with crushed ice. On your way home from work go via The Bottle-O in Mackay, pick up a bottle of this spiced goodness, pour it over ice and fill the glass with cola or ginger ale. This is the perfect remedy to wind down after the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
