Kettles On Cafe

For some healthy treats in the wee hours of the morning, head to Kettles On Cafe in Kingscliff. Boasting fresh and locally sourced cuisine, this cafe opens at 6:30am every morning to serve you up delicious coffee, breakfast, juices and treats. Step inside to meet the friendly staff in the laid-back, beachside environment.
Breakfast options include favourites such as maple pancakes with blueberries, bacon and cream, or eggs benedict. If you’d like to try something a bit different to help you get out of bed, we recommend the sweet corn fritters or the mushrooms with whipped goats cheese and balsamic reduction. If you’re feeling ravenous, you can add poached eggs, avocado or other goodies to any meal to make it perfectly suited to your palate and appetite. While we highly recommend the coffee, you also can’t leave without trying one of their famous fresh juices or smoothies. You won’t be disappointed with the service and food if you visit Kettles On Cafe for your next breakfast hideaway.

Coastal Visions Cafe & Surf Art Gallery

If you need somewhere to zen out when you first get out of bed, we recommend you visit the Coastal Visions Cafe & Surf Art Gallery. Surrounded by the incredible photography and artwork of local artists, you can sit back and enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee while taking in the views of the captured beaches. Look at beautiful photos of the rolling waves, and then order something to eat off the menu or out of their cabinet.
Treats include fresh croissants and toasted sandwiches, or if you’re after something a little more filling, try the bacon and egg brekky roll that is simply divine. For a delicious sweet breakfast, order their banana bread that comes toasted with mascarpone and maple syrup. This is the best place to tempt you to roll out of bed this morning, so pop down anytime after 7:30am, 7 days a week, to meet the lovely owners and enjoy one of the Tweed Coast’s best hidden gems.

Cafe Zingara

If you’re looking for a place to stop in after your early morning jog, head to Cafe Zingara across from the beach in Kingscliff. This friendly cafe serves up delicious breakfast and coffee from 6am every morning. Step inside and meet the lovely team, or take a seat in the outside cafe if you’re exercising with your beloved dog. They cook up some of the freshest meals around with highly experienced and trained staff always providing excellent quality food.
You can grab something simple like the the sourdough toast with avocado and poached eggs, or you can try one of their much loved specialties such as the breakfast bagel with smoked salmon, spinach, poached eggs, shaved parmesan and special dill and lime dressing. All of their meal sizes are incredibly generous, and paired with a hot Amore coffee you really won’t find anything better.
