Bad Weather Update - Friday February 20th at 3.17pm

With the wet weather throughout the week it is important to remain safe whilst travelling around Byron Bay and surrounding areas. Please be on alert for any dramatic weather changes which could cause flooding within the region.

Weather Warning

It is expected to continue with heavy rainfall over the weekend and next week in Byron Bay and surrounding areas including the Northern Rivers. Phil Holloway, Byron Shire Council director of Infrastructure urges tourists and locals to be cautious when visiting waterways such as beaches paying particular attention to signs if beaches are closed.
