A little piece of Bali located walking distance from the Quiksilver pro itself. Not only does this unique oceanfront bar and nightclub hot-spot have the look and feel of that popular Aussie holiday destination in Indonesia but it also carries the same crazy party vibe. The Coolangatta Hotel

Ivory Tavern
Whether the surf at Snapper Rocks finally decides to rear it’s head or not, a stop at the Ivory Tavern is essential. It’s relatively new to the Coolangatta nightlife scene but has made waves with its modern, exciting vibe coupled with pristine views of the Tweed River. Making the short trip down Wharf Street will be well worth your while once you’re throwing back one of Ivory Taverns notorious cocktails. The fruit tingle is a common favourite for regulars, but at a ridiculous $5 dollars a pop you can try them all (drinking responsibly of course). Ivory tavern is the perfect venue to start your night out on the town. Or if turning down $5 cocktails is not your thing, Ivory Tavern offers live music in the form of a DJ set right into the evening – but you will need to pick the right night.
