#1 Dundullimal Homestead

 Step back in time and experience rural living in the early colonial days at Dundullimal Homestead. Built back in the 1840s, Dundullimal Homestead is Dubbo’s oldest building.

Tour the homestead, gardens and surrounding farmland, while the kids have a ball with the ducks and chickens. After you’ve had a look around, stop by the onsite café to treat your tastebuds. 


#2 Red Earth Estate

#3 Dubbo Observatory

#4 Terramungamine Reserve and Rock Grooves

Just outside Dubbo is the Terramungamine Reserve, dedicated to the Tubbagah Aboriginal Burial Ground.

In the reserve site is rock groves, formed by the Aborigine people sharpening their tools and weapons. This site extends for about 100 metres along the bank of the Macquarie River.

Further along Burraway Road is Redbank Reserve, where you can swim, fish and camp on the riverbank. Explore local Dubbo history, and stay the night to experience Australian bushland.
