This is the perfect place to head for a big lunch or dinner; just remember this restaurant is BYO, so be sure to pack your favourite bottle of wine for the trip!

For incredible ocean views complete with mouthwatering seafood dishes, look no further than the Flying Fish Point Seaside Cafe. Open 7 days a week from 7:30am to 8:00pm, this little local cafe serves up delicious meals to dine in or takeaway. If you have a hankering for some fresh seafood, we recommend you try their crumbed mackerel served with freshly cooked chips.
Would you prefer more variety on your plate? Why don’t you order a seafood basket to share, and you can either eat in at the cafe overlooking Flying Fish Point, or takeaway and sit on the foreshore to enjoy the fresh ocean breeze. They also have a range of other meals if you’d prefer a juicy hamburger, or you can pop in for your morning cup of coffee to warm you up. This is a tranquil location with great food and an amazing view!

If you’d prefer to eat seafood every night of the week and need a trusted supplier, head to Innisfail Seafood. Here you can pick up freshly caught fish, including Spanish mackerel, coral trout and snapper. Choose to buy your fish whole, or ask them to cut, gut and fillet it specifically to your needs. If you’re feeling particularly adventurous, you can pick up other locally caught and fresh seafood.
Want to try your hand at cooking crab? You can buy some fresh mud and blue swimmer crabs from the friendly team at Innisfail Seafood (as well as some handy cooking tips). Otherwise check out their regular, straight-off-the-trawler tiger prawns, oysters or scallops. It doesn’t get more fresh than this!
