Located close to the CBD, Emerald Downs Golf Course may be Port Macquarie’s newest course, but it’s fast becoming the most popular. Nestled among a residential estate, this 18 hole, par 70 course is great for golfers of all abilities. Carts are available, but with the perfect mix of par 3s, 4s and 5s, we suggest walking to get the most out of your Emerald Downs experience. If you’re having a good day, don’t get too cocky until you’re in the clubhouse, as the 18th is a par 3 water carry to the green, which is surrounded by bunkers. If you’re lucky enough you might even see one of the many koalas that call this course home – just try to keep the ball out of the trees for their sake.

Nestled among beautiful native gardens, you’ll enjoy every minute of your round at this well maintained golfer’s paradise. The Kew Country Club’s course is easy enough to encourage beginners to have a go, but is still hard to enough to challenge the more proficient golfers.
