If you’re someone who gets ravenous on your lunch hour, The Frenchville Sports Club has a mouthwatering special that will give you the brainpower to kick on strong for the remainder of your day. The Flavours Bistro within The Frenchville Sports Club has a current autumn lunch special available that includes an apple cider, pulled pork burger with homemade Texan BBQ sauce. If your mouth isn’t already salivating, this baby comes with a side of freshly grilled corn on the cob and potato crisps. If you’re a vegetarian or this lunch special just isn’t that appealing to you, you can always indulge in the “All You Can Eat” buffet at The Frenchville Sports Club Flavours Bistro, which is a smorgasbord of deliciousness, so make sure you visit!

There are a plethora of big sandwiches and crunchy fresh salads if you’re on a little bit of a health kick. There are pizzas, burgers, and bacon and eggs that are simple but are also absolute local favourites in Rockhampton. What the Giddy Goat Café & Bar are renowned for, especially with business people and coffee lovers in the area, is the free scone with jam and cream that you get with the purchase of any coffee between 9am – 11am. Outback Jack’s Bar & Grill has just opened in Rockhampton and so far customers have been regularly rolling out of this restaurant very full and very cheery. They are currently rocking a super bargain on their lunchtime menu which is the Outback Jacks Autumn beef or barra deal. This is a succulent porterhouse steak accompanied by chunky chips or perfectly pan fried Australian Barramundi and chunky chips. This carbo loaded deal is a cheeky $12.95 which is equivalent to a fancy cup of coffee and cold pressed juice, I know which one I’d prefer to attack on my lunch break.

This is one of the only restaurants in Rockhampton where you can enjoy authentic and modern Mexican dishes. Have a fiesta this lunchtime at Zambrero Mexican Restaurant because Mexican is always a good idea in the office. On Wednesdays in March, these guys offer $5 meals all day which include tacos, nachos, burritos and bowls. Look forward to a lunch break that won’t even nearly break the bank. and make sure you accompany these bargain meals with fresh guac and corn chips! Apart from the fact that Zambrero offers some delicious lunch options they truly have a touching story. This Mexican franchise sells healthy Mexican food to support humanitarian projects in Africa, Asia and the Americas. Since the formation of Zambrero in 2005, millions of poverty stricken individuals have been provided with food because of the great work done at Zambrero.
