Friday

The Precinct Tavern
Sharky @ 5pm
This Friday night, weekly act Sharky will be playing live at The Precinct Tavern from 5pm onwards. A popular local soloist, this will be a great evening if you’re looking for some chilled out music while you have a drink (or two). Sharky covers a huge range of genres and decades in his performances, so grab yourself a craft beer and enjoy the live tunes!

Shenannigans
The Fanta Merkins @ 10pm
For a fun night out, head to Shenannigans this Friday night for rock and roll band The Fanta Merkins. Playing a number of original tunes, this is one of Darwin’s most popular gigs and always gets people dancing. If you want your Friday night to be lively and jam-packed with premium entertainment, head to Shenannigans for a few drinks and listen to these guys rock it out in the bar.

Brown’s Mart Theatre
TerrorFest @ 5pm
This Saturday starting at 5pm, TerrorFest is set to go off at the Brown’s Mart Theatre. If you’re a lover of heavy metal and rock, then this is an event you will not want to miss. A one-of-a-kind Darwin concert, TerrorFest will be showcasing local artists, as well as headlining band Azreal flown in from Queensland for the event. Tickets are $30 (or $35 at the door) and can be purchased here.

Darwin Railway Sports & Social Club
The Cyclones @ 7:30pm
If you prefer your reggae to hard rock, then you should head down to Darwin Railway Sports and Social Club this Saturday night! The Cyclones are a local Darwin ten-piece band that will be playing a set of ska music (a Jamaican genre). Join other locals in relaxing to the reggae tunes of this unique local band. This is set to be a popular event, so make sure you grab your $10 tickets by booking online here!

PINT Club Darwin
First Sunday Blues @ 2.30pm
On the first Sunday of every month, the PINT Club in Darwin hosts the First Sunday Blues; the perfect Sunday session with live, soulful music. If you dabble in a bit of blues yourself, pop down and sign up for the open mic that starts after the main acts. This Sunday you’ll be treated to the smooth tunes of Lisa Sennett and the Governors for a quality live gig you won’t soon forget. If you live and breathe blues, this is the best monthly Darwin event for you.
